Whether it’s the death of another Black person at the hands of a cop, or a racist attack on an Asian person incorrectly blamed for a worldwide pandemic, so-called first world nations will never take the blame for the problems their power structure has caused. The same nations routinely steal natural resources and exploit labor from colonized and nationally oppressed people while profiting from and appropriating their cultures . But every day, more and more people are realizing their power and organizing to liberate themselves and unite with other oppressed groups. This cannot and will not go on for much longer.
lyrics
Harapan mokong
Hinuhusgaan
Di nakita ang pagkatao
At ang kulay ko lamang
Ninakaw mo
Ang aming kultura
Ninakaw mo
Ang aming yaman
(You judge me by my face
You don’t see a human, only race
You steal our culture
You steal our wealth)
Culture and land
Pillaged for foreign interests
While xenophobic lies are spread
To justify brutalization
Ninakaw mo
Ang aming kultura
Ninakaw mo
Ang aming yaman
The progress of the settler-colonial state is built upon the bodies of black, brown, and working people worldwide. We have decided that we have had enough.
